on the way back around the coast we pulled off at fanore beach. a big surfing spot when it's warmer, the beach has a thin layer of orange sand on top and then it's black sand underneath. it started snowing again shortly after we left doolin, so the beach was covered in snow! so so so cold when we were there, but definitely coming back once it gets a bit warmer.
